Presenting EKINNI- A Sewing Pattern
The Ekinni dress is so me. My kind of dress- easy to wear, slip on, no zip, no buttons, elasticated waist line so I can eat well and not feel constrained (lol), can be dressed up or dressed down for different moods/looks/occasion. I hope you like it too. It is the very first sewing pattern I designed, hence the name "Ekinni" which means "First" in the Yoruba language.
It bias cut lends it
some air of elegance and makes it flatter a wide range of shape. (Yeah, bias
cut skirts make your behind look good). It is a pattern recommended for
advanced beginners and up. With the accompany instruction set, you can achieve
the Ekinni dress to high finishing standard with just your basic straight
sewing machine because all seams and edges are clean finished with French seams and bias binding.
Suitable fabrics
include to light to medium weights fabric with drape.
